Gettin' Crafty | Last-minute Valentine (toddler appropriate)

M started mixing paints together and look at what resulted...what are the chances??

In our house we craft. Not as much as we would like...but when we do it... we like to get messy... we want quick results...and budget-friendly?? even better...we love to laugh... and if we can use every color of the rainbow...AWESOME! Enter this week's craft...

Valentine's Day Craft :: Toilet Paper Roll Heart Stamps
For this Valentine's Day, we needed something, quick, easy, cheap, and fun, fun, fun. And this craft from Rust & Sunshine (found via Prudent Baby) is the ticket. Here's what you need to get started:

Supplies
Paint
(we used washable Crayola paints)
Toilet paper roll
(we had a paper towel roll and cut it in half)
Tape
Paper
Smock or cover up for kiddo
Wipes for hands
(especially if it digresses to finger-painting fun as it did for us :)
Sense of Humor
Creative Spirit

Flatten the toilet paper or paper towel roll. Then tuck in the top half to form the top of the heart and tape to hold in place.  Then dip the end of the toilet paper roll in the paint and start stamping.

 Here's our creation...

Michelle from Rust & Sunshine is a creative genius...I'm so happy she shares her holiday craftiness.

How do you like to craft? What are some of your favorite Valentine's Day crafts?

We are getting set up for a celebration tomorrow. Can't wait to show you more! 'Til then...
Peace!
Jenn
